Well, the photo on the left is similar to a view which I embrace when I am enjoying the ride be it in a Car or a Bus or a Train.
The sun rays making its way through the branches and kissing the edges of the lush green leaves. The vivid colors of the flowers making the skyscape quite enticing for a thirsty soul is a feeling I long to have.
This is one such moment which I look forward to these days when I am traveling in the Metro Train.
But this got me thinking, why are 100s of others commuting, stuck to the gadget in front of them; staring into the phone for eternity!
Almost ofcourse, when I saw this every other time in the Metro train, 90% of the passengers in a Coach were glued to their Mobile Phone.
Why just the Coach, most of the people on two wheelers are riding with a tilted neck(you know why), people waiting in a hospital for a doctor’s visit, street hawkers, people in a park, cab/auto drivers, the mobile phone is the first thing that shows up before you get to interact with any person.
Well does it do all the above?
Are we not confronting ourselves with our feelings because of the invisible indispensable limb?
Are we not confronting ourselves with our actions because of the invisible indispensable limb?
Are we not confronting others in dire situations because of the solace of the invisible indispensable limb?
Are we not confronting situations because of the solace of the invisible indispensable limb?
Ofcourse, the mobile phone is our Invisible Indispensable Limb! Is it?
Some questions to ponder on where we stand if it is truly were or is our invisible indispensable limb and at what cost?
Would ofcourse love to listen to your perspectives…..
Good luck 🙂
