March gave us many reasons to pause, be aware and reflect.
World Water Day.
International Day of Forests.
World Sparrow Day.
World Happiness Day.
We posted. We shared. We celebrated.
But here’s the uncomfortable question:
Are we truly honoring these days—or just acknowledging them in passing?
Because beyond all the posts, shares, likes, the world still feels chaotic. Conflict continues and everything seems unsettling. And we forget that we are a part of nature.
As a Nature Connection Coach, I keep returning to one thought:
Nature is not at war. Humans are.
Forests don’t compete—they coexist.
Rivers don’t resist—they flow.
Sparrows don’t hoard—they trust.
Yet we, the most “advanced” species, often find ourselves in conflict—with the world, with each other, and within ourselves.
So where do we stand?
Maybe the real work isn’t in celebrating these “days,” but in embodying their essence daily.
- What if we treated water as sacred, not just scarce?
- What if we learned resilience from forests instead of exploiting them?
- What if we noticed the sparrows again—the small, quiet indicators of balance?
- What if happiness wasn’t chased, but cultivated through connection?
The hard fact and truth- We need saving and not Nature!
And the path ahead isn’t domination.
It’s reconnection.
When we slow down…
When we listen…
When we observe without trying to control…
We begin to heal.
Not just the planet—but ourselves.
So this is your gentle invitation:
Step outside today.
Feel the ground beneath your feet.
Look up at the sky.
Listen—not to respond, but to understand.
Because the more we reconnect with nature,
the less we feel the need to be at war—with anything.
Let’s not just celebrate these days.
Let’s live them.
If this resonates with you, share one small way you’re reconnecting with nature this week.
Let’s grow together—consciously.
